Discover how the early Californians, the mountain men and the gold miners as well as the women and children, managed their health.

Docent Diana King will be presenting “Medicine in California During the Gold Rush Era.”  Diana has provided historical medicine information at Sutter’s Fort State Park and at numerous Mountain Men reenactments around the State.  So, if you want to be cured – stop by the  Benicia Capitol at 1125 West G Street and learn how the ole Sour doughs got along.
